For this fourth edition PhotoMenton organizers have once again climb a echelon: to gather in one place more than eighty photographers from all backgrounds and followers of the most varied, all in favor of another association: the HAMAP

The idea was born here four years, between Emmanuel Thifaine and Michel Bieliaeff. Mister Bieliaeff member of the association Stop anti-personnel mines, outlined during a meal in the struggle of his association on the ground. Emmanuel, sensitive and generous man, feel concerned by this question. He therefore sought a way to make its contribution to the building. And so at the end of the meal the idea of an event around the photo, subject knows very well that being a photographer himself, made fly.
The two men on board and carrying in their great history, girlfriends and friends. PhotoMenton was born.
Workshop shooting, photo studio, conference on panoramic photo, the photo as marine, long haul . All these activities made on this fourth edition a mecca of the photo.
Curious or connoisseurs, professional or amateur exhibitors were all happy to be there to share all this love of the beautiful image.
And as in all great events, people know how to act, and so this year is almost ten thousand euros to be paid back to Démineurs HAMAP President, Mr Joel Kaigre, former military engineer, upset, very moved and happy to receive this gift.
This amount will maintain the area of a deminer for one year.It is easy to imagine the number of wounded but the number of deaths avoided.
The association PhotoMenton and its partners have set the bar very high, in place now as this visit an important event for the city of Citron, still bravo!
