76th Lemon Festival in Menton :
For more than two weeks Menton celebrates its emblem Legendary: The Lemon.
The city of Menton opportunities this offers a multitude of festivities: Corso day, night, fireworks, concerts, an exhibition of local handicrafts,
International Festival of Orchids And that's not all !
Reasons giants, exclusively composed of citrus fruits, are proudly exhibited throughout the Garden Biovès, in the valley of Carei opposite the Casino. Prepared on parterres of flowers, their theme this year's World Music. There are beautiful scenes and focusing on music from all continents. With course sets to accompany these performances folk music came from Russia, Africa, South America, North America, Europe . And that's not all !
Beautiful floats decorated with Oranges and Lemons "corso golden fruit, but also dancers, the waders, clowns and other" troublemakers "and animate spread their joy throughout the seaside, up for the occasion by a real human tide.
La Fête du Citron ®, an event unique in the world, pride of Mentonnais, annually attracts over 250 000 visitors. Attendance which continues to grow thanks to the quality of the various performances. Nor should we forget all professionals, artisans, the various technical teams that allow everyone to enjoy this event.
